He was an illusionist,
Kept tricks under his sleeves,
Bunnies and birds inside his hats.
Brought smiles to the passerby,
And wonders to the children .
He was an illusionist.
He won hearts of many,
Even by his simple tricks.
But what he wanted to win
Was the heart of a lady
A lady standing in the corner,
With blue dress, and the face that of a Greek Beauty.
The dull blue eyes lost to the darkness,
The lips never curved.
He wanted to make her smile and reach those eyes.
He wanted to make her his.
He was an illusionist and they say, love is the best illusion.
Lol, the idea came out of nowhere, I know I m not good in poems but I write anyway…😅 Hope you enjoyed it!
